RACDGNY Events
Order of Merit
Order of Merit is a season-long stableford quota competition for the members of RACDGNY, which aims to identify the most consistently performing players over a full season.
We will be using Order of Merit to build part of our Roost Regional Team. By playing consistent enough (or not as bad as everyone else) you can earn one of the spots on the team.
The top players at the end of the season will be eligible for cash prizes assuming the minimum round requirements are met.
Season-Long Metro Matchplay Challenge
Enter our annual 64-player, season-long matchplay competition, and win the coveted Championship Belt!
PGL
The PGL is our annual team competition with six teams. Team members challenge each other for a singles match, or two people challenge other two people to a four ball match. Every team member must play at least one match. With four ball matches, partners do not have to be on the same team. You can challenge anyone, anywhere, anytime, and you can play as many matches as you want. You can talk about those matches, imagined and real, in the discord Stir the Pot channel. Points are awarded to the winning teams. The PGL is a great way to get involved and meet other people in the group.
The GovFather
The Second Annual GovFather will be held at Francis A. Byrne Golf Course.

The Grazing at Inness
Many of our members have referred to it as the best day of golf each year.
Join us on Thursday, June 19, for an all-day, 36+ hole trek across the King Collins 9-hole course at INNESS.
This event is a two-person team event, with three 9 nine hole matches in four-ball, modified alt-shot, and singles. The champions will be crowned following a true alt-shot Derby round.
RACDGNY will rent out the entire course for the day, and even as the championship round concludes, many will be found hitting shots until the sun goes down.
The Shepherd Open
This event is our Roost Major of the season with two NIT invitations on the line.
The Empire Cup
The Empire Cup moves to Sullivan County Golf Club in Liberty, NY, for a friendly match with the Lake Effect Roost.
The Crown
We run it back again this season at the Links of Union Vale! Format: Two-person combined net Stableford quota. You & your partner will receive a combined quota based on handicaps. Stableford points are accumulated based on gross scores. Register now!
